Planning Commission – Letter of Interest

On Monday, January 8th, 2024, West Newton Borough Council approved, Ordinance No. 2024-1, an ordinance establishing a planning commission under the provisions of the Pennsylvania municipalities planning code Act 247 of 1968, P.L. 805, as reenacted and amended, 53 P.S. Section 10101, ET SEQ. Attached below is Ordinance 2024-1.

At this time, West Newton Borough Council is searching for (5) five applicants who reside within the Borough who would be interested in becoming a part of West Newton Borough’s Planning Commission.
