West Newton Borough is looking to hire a Street Supervisor/Working Foreman.
This position is to serve as the Street Supervisor/Working Foreman, commonly referred to as Street Supervisor of the Borough of West Newton Street Department, carrying out a variety of highway, town and sewer system maintenance related tasks. This person is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Street and Sewer System Department. This position requires experience with personnel management, all aspects of highway construction and maintenance, employee and contractor oversight, equipment operation and maintenance, job safety, mechanical ability, record keeping and communicative skills, and any other tasks assigned by the Borough Council. The position is full-time M-F, requiring a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
