NEW – Bridge Color – VOTE HERE!

West Newton Bridge Color Voting has been reopened!!
PennDOT advised Borough Council that, according to PennDOT’s engineer, the previously approved red/brown bridge color CAN NOT be used, even though this was a previously suggested color. The red/brown color, per PennDOT engineer would not allow for safe and effective inspection of the bridge over time.

In light of this information, Borough Council is requesting additional input from the community. Residents are encouraged to participate in this follow-up vote to assist Council in determining the bridge color moving forward. Both of these color options were again suggested by PennDOT and PennDOT Engineer.
